Doylestown families will soon be treated to an experience that will encourage them to unplug from the virtual world and tune into their creative side.
The Michener Art Museum will be offering area families a chance to be part of its Unplugged Family Days initiative, which encourages parents and kids to spend some quality time together. Advance registration is not needed, and there will be special activities on offer for them to enjoy.
Attendees will be welcome to pick up some make and take activities, and these will draw inspiration from the exhibits the museum currently has on display. Staff facilitators will be on hand to help, and the projects will be suitable for any age.
Advertised as a fun way for parents and kids, or grandparents and kids, to spend some quality time together, funding of the initiative has been provided by the Leff Family Foundation.
Spreading the word to a community about events on the horizon may be made quick and easy with assistance from a poster printing company. These can range from simple mailers to oversized Posters, all of which will be on offer at different price points.
This chance for families to get unplugged for an afternoon will be held on Sunday, January 29. Those interested can stop by between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm to pick up their kit.
