Doylestown area festival to celebrate harvest season

Along with falling leaves, autumn in Doylestown often means enjoying freshly picked apples, and a local event will capture the spirit of the season.

All of Bucks County is invited to celebrate the harvest by attending a celebration that will be hosted at Peddler’s Village in New Hope. It will be filled with family-friendly activities, and will be taking place rain or shine.

People at Apple Weekend will be able to enjoy a variety of attractions, and food will also be on offer. Admission and parking are both free, but there will be a fee charged for the concessions. The shops at the location will remain open until 8:00 pm so that everyone can engage in some leisurely browsing, and questions can be directed to 215-794-4000.

Along with the harvest celebration, the event will feature freshly baked apple pies available for pickup. These need to be ordered in advance, and as they tend to sell out quickly, anyone who would like to purchase one is advised to place their order well ahead of time. Packaging materials for this type of activity may be obtained from local Print shops.

This year's Apple Weekend will welcome Bucks County families on November 6 and 7. The Peddler’s Village website offers more information about the occasion, as well as a link to order apple pies.
