Beer and bonsai can be a perfect combination, and those who sit in on a workshop that will be held this July will go home with their very own planting they can enjoy for many years.
This Doylestown area event, which will be held Hatboro’s Crooked Eye Brewery, will teach a group of budding green thumbs how to create their very own bonsai dish garden. As jade plants can be easy to care for, they are the species that has been chosen for this project, and each of the attendees will receive one along with all of the other materials needed to construct their planting.
Instruction will be provided by Terrarium Therapy for the event, and along with the supplies needed to construct their garden, each participant will also receive a flight of beers from Crooked Eye Brewery. Tickets are $50 each, and can be purchased ahead of time.
An event like this can be a lot of fun and can also be the start of a new hobby. If each of the participants is given a care sheet, which can be produced for this sort of function by local Print shops, they will know how to keep their new leafy friend looking great for a long time to come.
This combo of beer and bonsai will be on offer on July 8th, starting at 6:30 pm. It is open to anyone who is 21 and over, although preregistration is required.
