Lewis Center to host Ohios annual nursing conference
The 2023 Annual OASN Conference will take place in Lewis Center next month, providing an opportunity for Ohio nursing professionals to come together in fellowship.
Ohio Association of School Nurses (OASN) is a professional association for Ohio’s registered nurses and related health professionals specializing in school health services and school nursing. The association’s members hail from all over Ohio and work in various school settings, including rural and urban school districts. The mission of OASN is to promote the overall wellness of Ohio’s schoolchildren by providing support, education, and leadership for the practice of school nursing.
The weekend-long conference will celebrate the association 50th anniversary of being a professional organization dedicated to school nursing. Attendees will be able to connect with their fellow peers and learn from leaders in their field. There will be a keynote address by guest speaker Jack Berckemeye, a renowned author, presenter, and former middle school teacher. Topics to be addressed will include holistic wellness, nutrition, and mental health issues in schoolchildren.
