Lewis Center hits the trails
The Rocks and Roots Trail 7th annual trail run returns to Lewis Center this January.
The event is an annual run along the recently developed Rocks and Roots Trail. All patrons will have options for the distance as well as the date. There will be 10K, 20K, 30K, 40K, and 50K to choose from.
A choice of two dates is offered to runners, or patrons may choose to enter on both days. Participants who opt for both days will also receive an additional race package, which includes a sweater and a complimentary water bottle. All those who complete the race will receive a medal.
The trail is suited to all levels of runners. For those entering for the first time, there will be arrows indicating the race path. The event will also feature a variety of training sessions prior to the start of the race. Sign-up for training is available on the race website.
The cost for one race-day registration will be $65 until December 31. There will be a $5 increase after this date, which lasts until the race day. For both days, registration will be $125 until December 31, and $135 after.
