Coffee baristas brew festival

The Columbus Coffee Festival returns for its’ sixth annual event next month, featuring coffee shops and roasters from throughout Ohio, including Lewis Center, Delaware, and Grove City.

The 2021 festival will feature three-to-four-ounce samples from numerous coffee shops, including Coffee Connections, Silver Bridge Coffee Company, Hemisphere Coffee Roasters, and Deeper Roots Coffee. The event will also include local vendors, and snacks and meals available for purchase from food trucks. Several music, poetry, yoga, gardening, art, and historical exhibits will also be on site.

The two-day festival is held annually by Columbus Underground. Professional printing services may be used to create the commemorative festival mugs with which each attendee is provided with at the event. These glass mugs are used each year to reduce waste, by eliminating the use of paper and Styrofoam cups. Coffee roasters are also encouraged to compost their coffee grounds at the end of the event.

The festival will be sponsored by several notable local partners, including Snowville Creamery, Dueling Axes, Experience Columbus, Oakland Nursery, and Flourish Chiropractic.

The 2021 Columbus Coffee Festival will be held on Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Tickets are available for purchase in advance on the Eventbrite website, ranging in price from $20 to $50. The event is held outdoors at the Ohio Village located in the Ohio History Connection at 800 East 17th Avenue in Columbus.
