What's Happening in Lewis Center, OH…

Charity event to bowl central Ohio over

A soup festival will be held in Columbus this April.

The Miklos B 5th Annual Soupfest is a charitable event where all proceeds will go towards supporting the Miklos Battaglia Fund at the Columbus Foundation. The Foundation provides support to food scarcity and social inequality causes in central Ohio cities, which include Lewis Center.

Guests can look forward to an evening of over 45 different types of soup from local restaurants. There will also be homemade varieties for patrons to try. Live entertainment will be provided throughout the evening by various performers, including GVNR, Wasp Factory, and Advance Base. The show’s headliner will be Alex Cameron.

The ticket costs will be $50 per person. They are available for purchase on the Eventbrite website. Tickets will guarantee access to the venue, soup samples from restaurants and locals, and a donation to the charity.

All patrons must present proof of vaccination, or a negative Covid-19 test (taken in the last three days) at the door. Those who do not present these must forfeit their ticket, and there is a no refund policy for this event.

Flyer printing can be an innovative way to give guests information on menu varieties available at events such as this.

This event will be held on Saturday, April 30, at the Valley Dale Ballroom, which is at 1590 Sunbury Road, Columbus, Ohio 43219. It begins at 1:00 pm.
