An orientation session for substitute teachers is scheduled for Lebanon.
The Southwest Ohio Council of Governments (SWO-COG) Certified Substitute Teachers Orientation is a mandatory session, but it only necessary to attend one. In order to attend, a prospective substitute must have a copy of their Ohio Department of Education teaching or substitute teaching license before they can register, and the license must be current.
Due to the pandemic, the upcoming sessions are being conducted over Zoom. Among the subjects to be covered are an orientation to Absence Management (formerly known as Aesop) use. All additional requirements, including employment with SWO-COG will be discussed.
Anyone interested is required to visit the SWO-COG website, where they will find payroll Forms, documents, and employment paperwork. All of the Forms should be printed out and completed before the individual attempts to register. They will be required to bring this documentation, as well as a copy of their current teaching/substitute license, along with copies of the BCI/FBI reports, and turn them in three business days before their scheduled orientation.
The session will be zoomed from either Butler County Educational Service Center, where Anna Henning will lead, or from the Warren County Educational Services, where Donna Hamilton will lead the session.
The session is set for March 2, from 1.30 pm until 3.30 pm, organized by the Warren County Educational Service Center in Lebanon. Visitors to the website will find a colorful example of Logo Design.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design Get a Free Quote for Forms
