Hikers in Lebanon will want to make a note in their Calendars for April, as a local event will allow participants to pair their love of the activity with the opportunity to make a difference.
The 2nd Annual Trek Around the Clock fundraiser will give trekking enthusiasts and residents who want to test their endurance a fun and rewarding setting to do this. The fundraiser will feature 24 non-stop hours of trekking, with each step making a difference in the lives of others.
Trekkers will traverse the Countryside YMCA hiking trails, with the event making use of a two-mile loop. The experience will also feature participants with mobility challenges who will use the Rosie hiking chair to take part. Banner printing is a memorable and meaningful way to welcome all participants to the finish line at such endurance events while providing space for sponsors to reach their audience.
In addition to trekkers, organizers are seeking individuals who would like to be “sherpas” for the hike. These individuals will push or pull the Rosie chair during their designated hours, enhancing the experience for those using the chair.
The Countryside YMCA will be hosting the hiking fundraiser, and has announced that it is scheduled for Saturday, April 24, starting at 6:00 PM. Water and snacks will be available to all participants. Registration is open online, and a $50 donation is required.Get a Free Quote for Calendars
