Pickleball players who want to test their skills against the best will want to register early for a tournament being planned in Lebanon.
The Battle of the Paddle III Tournament and Fundraiser is coming to the Countryside YMCA pickleball courts next month, pitting the top players in the region against each other to see who comes out on top. The tournament will use a single-elimination format that welcomes doubles teams who can compete in several bracket options.
Interested parties can sign up for the men’s, women’s, mixed, and over-60 brackets, and teams that wish to compete in multiple brackets will need to sign up separately for each. The brackets will open play on Friday evening and Saturday morning, with the top teams continuing to play into Saturday evening and Sunday morning. Banner printing can help promote sporting events and tournaments like this and create a backdrop for podium photos, thus boosting impressions.
All teams are guaranteed at least three games, and each will receive special T-shirts to commemorate their participation in the tournament. The proceeds will benefit the Veterans Connect program. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The Countryside YMCA in Lebanon will host the pickleball tournament on Friday, February 20, with the first games starting at 5:00 PM. Registration costs $90 per two-person team online.
