A youth triathlon is being put together in Lebanon for this summer, giving local children a fun and active event to look forward to during their summer break.
The Healthy Kids Triathlon will be getting started in Lebanon this August, giving local parents a way to get their children interested in activities like biking, running, and swimming through friendly competition. The triathlon is open to children from 6 to 14 years of age, and it is being planned as a memorable way to cap off the summer in town.
The local YMCA will host the athletic event, which will use the venue’s pool, bike trail, and nature trail. Children will be grouped into similar age ranges for a more competitive experience, and each finisher will be awarded for their efforts as they cross the finish line. Racing events like this are an excellent fit for banner printing, allowing sponsors to build brand awareness and a positive image with competitors and spectators.
Shine Orthodontics will be sponsoring this year’s triathlon. The celebrations after the race ends will include a blowup water slide, balloon launcher, and food from Lebanon’s Skyline Chili Cheese Dogs.
Countryside YMCA, located in Lebanon, will host all three triathlon events on Saturday, August 15 starting at 8:30 AM. Parents can register their children to participate online to reserve their spot.
