One of Lebanon’s biggest events is back and promises to be more fun than ever.
The Lebanon Country Music Festival, one of the area’s largest, is returning to the Mulberry Street Plaza. The two-day party kicks off Friday, when a special guest drops by from the Lebanon Grand Ole Opry. The following day will bring more music, drinks, delicious food, and shopping at the merchants on Main Street Lebanon, as well as vendors who are coming to the city specifically to be part of the event.
Although this year’s plans are still being finalized, a look back at previous festivals reveals the type of fun that is on the way. In recent years, more than 12,000 people have gathered in Lebanon to listen to great music. The bands that appeared included 90 Proof Twang, the Noah Smith Band, the Richard Lynch Band, Haggard Country, the Jay Clark Band, and the Hip-Shakin Daddys.
The musicians tend to be from Ohio and the surrounding area. 90 Proof Twang, for example, was founded in 2012 by Josh Brock, the groups frontman. After releasing several CDs and performing hundreds of shows, the band has built a substantial following in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.
This year’s Country Music Festival is scheduled for June 11 and 12. Banner printing can be used to create both directional signage, and appropriate decorations, for outdoor events like this.
