New superintendent named to Lebanon City Schools

Early in June 2016, the school board selected a new superintendent who will take over as head of Lebanon City Schools.

According to a news item in Today's Pulse, the new superintendent is Todd Yohey, whose selection was announced on June 8, 2016, at a special meeting of Lebanon school board officials. Currently, Yohey works in Hamilton County, where he is superintendent of Oak Hills Local Schools. He will start his tenure in Lebanon on August 1, 2016.

Yohey replaces Mark North, who has been with the Lebanon school system for more than ten years. According to the Dayton Daily News, North will be moving to Fairborn. The Fairborn school district approved North's appointment back in March, and like Yohey, he will take over August 1.

Esther Larson, the president of the school board, said that Yohey's track record of supporting exceptional student achievement and overall experience as a superintendent made him a strong candidate from the beginning of the hiring process. Larson went on to say she believes Yohey will be able to collaborate with the community, the staff, and board members to create a strong direction and vision for the future of the school system.

Similar organizations can benefit from working with a flyer printing company, which can create a mailer that explains the hiring process and a candidate’s qualifications to the community.
