Dream Vacations, a travel agency, has opened a branch in Lebanon.
Agents who join the company buy a franchise from Dream Vacations and work from home. In the new agency, Jenelle and Chris Hornick are the owners, and they have completed a rigorous training program that qualifies them to operate the location.
The training included workshops on marketing and sales, briefings on their offerings by major cruise ship lines, hands-on computer training that introduced the Hornicks to Dream Vacations' propriety system CruiseControl, and reservation systems and sales reporting techniques. The couple also inspected cruise ships in person at the franchisor's training facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Travelers who want to book their trips with the Hornicks have the option of browsing through the offerings on their new website, or contacting them directly to ask for their assistance in planning their trip.
Dream Vacations franchisees become part of the umbrella organization World Travel Holdings, which includes such brands as CruiseOne, Island Hideaways, Resort for a Day, and LuxuryCruise.com, among others. Each addresses one aspect of travel, such as small ships, luxury cruises, or islands.
The Hornicks will no doubt want to let people know about their business. They could work with a brochure printing company to create colorful Booklets describing their services and the type of vacations they offer, and make them available locally.
