Lebanon offered e-waste and document shred service

The Warren County Records Center and Archives understands the importance of disposing of sensitive documents in a secure fashion, and it has organized a day that will help local households to do the same.

A community e-waste disposal and shred day will soon be taking place in Lebanon, open to the public for three hours. The Center will be partnering with the Warren County Solid Waste department to provide this service, which will be held in the parking lot at the Warren County Administration Building.

There is no cost being charged to have materials shredded by Royal Document Destruction, and the electronics will be recycled by Cohn Recycling. This will be the only event of its kind on the county’s schedule for this fall, and items will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Anyone who would like to make a donation for the service is welcome to do so, but this is not required.

Giving the public plenty of advance notice about a function like this can help to make sure it will be a success. A poster printing company will be able to help, and it may be a wise move to order and post these materials well ahead of time.

This Warren County Community Shred will be helping local residents to security dispose of documents and e-waste on October 2. Materials may be dropped off starting at 10:00 am.
