This year, the Lebanon Theatre Company is trying something new for the spooky season.
Every year, the Lebanon Theatre Company puts on a special Halloween show. Previously, the company has presented ghosts and entertainment with paranormal themes, mostly to audiences of between 50 and 100 people, in a traditional theater setting.
According to the news item, the company will be putting on a work called ‘The Séance’, and will limit the audience to 12 people. Not only that, but the audience members will take part in the performance, as they become “sitters”, as those who attend séances are known. The sitters will be led by Brahm Corstanje, a long-time member of the company who is known for both his acting talent and his creative and spooky special effects.
Corstanje will present a strange collection of items, including photos, letters, Books, and a damaged audio cassette, to the participants for their examination. The items are purported to have belonged to a young preacher who vanished without a trace. The audience/sitters will hunt for clues among the objects, and take part in any supernatural events that occur during the evening.
There will be eight “séances” held, one at 8:00 pm and the second at 10:00 pm, on five days: Oct. 9, 10, 16, and 17. They will take place at 10 South Mechanic Street in Lebanon, and reservations are required. Theater management could work with a flyer printing company to create handouts to distribute near the theater to increase interest in the show.Get a Free Quote for Books
