Arts and crafts enthusiasts will want an open schedule next month, as a holiday arts and crafts course makes a visit to Lebanon.
The Lebanon Public Library is hosting a festive night of arts and crafts in a few weeks, providing an opportunity for participants to learn the basics of making ornaments and decorations for the holidays. Juvenile Services Librarian Stacy Books is planning the event, suitable for adults and children of all ages.
Attendees will learn the techniques to create ornaments to gift to family members or to enjoy at home. Crafts and activities will also be available to registered guests, including making their own reindeer food. The crafts are designed for children three and older, though the entire family is invited to attend.
Interested parties are asked to register all children who plan to attend the holiday arts and crafts course, and an adult must accompany all children. The crafts will continue while supplies last. Print shops can be an excellent resource when sourcing supplies for events such as this that include the whole family.
The crafts class is scheduled for Thursday, December 14th, with the doors opening at 6:00pm. Crafting will continue for one hour, and registered guests are encouraged to stop in between those hours.
