Favorite festival returning to Lebanon

Lebanon has scheduled one of its most popular events for later this year.

The annual Lebanon Blues Festival gives lovers of this uniquely American music a chance to enjoy ten blues outfits over a period of two days. Located in downtown Lebanon, the festival also a grand beer garden, KidsRow, and the Blues, BBQ, and Bumper Car Show, in which more than 150 classic cars are on display. KidsRow, which is on Mechanic Street, is hosted by organizations that serve young people, and offers fun for everyone in the family.

The Red Hot Blues Run is part of the day, and offers races of 5K, 10K, or 15K. The adults step off at 5:00 pm, a half-hour after the Kids Run starts.

The centerpiece of the festival, of course, is the music. People are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets, and small coolers are also acceptable. However, pets should be left home, and no outside alcohol is to be brought in, as this is a fundraiser for the Lebanon Optimist Club, which will receive 100% of the proceeds to support its programs to help the community.

The Blues Festival is set for July 31 and August 1. Festivalgoers can visit KidsRow between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm, and visit the classic cars on Saturday, from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. Flyer printing is a good tool to use to create handouts for events of this type, which are spread over multiple locations.
