A country and pop music duo that lit up charts in both genres is on the way to Lebanon.
The Bellamy Brothers, Homer and David, hail from Florida, and had great success in the 1970s and 1980s. In 1976, they released “Let Your Love Flow,” a hit that went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
They also began enjoying success in the country genre, with over 20 singles going to number one, and over 50 hits in total making it onto the country charts. Overall, they now have more than 50 albums to their credit, and have found great success in Europe, mostly on the Continent, where a compilation album soared to the top spot on the charts in Norway in 2011. The album “Bellamy Brothers & Friends: Across the Sea,” which they released in 2013, rose to No. 5 on the charts in Switzerland, as well as capturing the No. 1 spot for album sales for weeks in that country.
In 2014, their Swiss winning streak continued with the release of “Mermaid Cowgirl,” which went to gold status there. They have toured widely, and were part of Blake Shelton's “Friends and Heroes” tour.
A review says:
“Enjoyed! Highly recommend this all age show. Would go again.”
The Bellamy Brothers will appear at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Lebanon on December 12, in a show that has been rescheduled from an earlier date. Flyer printing is frequently used to publicize events like this.
