City Manager Pat Clements described the construction in the area as a conversion from a field that produces crops to one that grows and produces jobs.
“Lebanon’s historic downtown is its heart and soul, but its five industrial parks and the companies that make them up are what drive the community and contribute to the high quality of life its residents’ experience.”
said Clements.
As Lebanon’s industrial parks continue to expand and more and more large and small businesses move into the area, local Print companies might also expect to see an increase in business. These companies moving into the city will likely find themselves in need of business card printing and Stationery printing. Banner printing, poster printing and other printing services may also be used at special events, such as ground-breaking ceremonies or grand opening activities.
The city of Lebanon spent $1.3 million to have a 1,200-foot road constructed in order to extend Henkle Drive for the FedEx facility. The funds were taken from the city’s tax increment financing fund.
The new Packaging and distribution center is expected to open sometime in July 2013.
