Classical era dinner welcomes guests in Lebanon

Lebanon residents seeking a trip into the past will want to leave space in the calendar next month, as a dinner and dance are coming to town.

The JASNA CWO Twelfth Night Ball will open its doors to registered guests in a few weeks, giving these individuals access to a party from a different century. The evening will pair a dinner with Regency Era dancing, taking participants into a setting like the hit series Bridgerton.

The ball is being organized by the Jane Austen Society of North America, which aims to provide study, appreciation, and a greater appreciation of Austen’s intellect and genius. The group supports educational programs and research related to her legacy. Attendees will be served dinner before receiving their dance cards and learning the ins and outs of Regency Era dance. Poster printing is an excellent and colorful way to promote such events while providing additional visibility for sponsors.

Dinner options include a buffet line or baked squash for individuals with dietary restrictions or a Vegan lifestyle. All meals come with a salad, rolls, and refreshments. Guests are asked to wear festive formal attire to the ball.

The Armstrong Event Center will host the ball and dinner on Saturday, January 4th. The doors open at 5:00 PM, and the party concludes at 9:00 PM. Non-member admission costs $70, and interested parties can RSVP online.
