Lebanon’s chamber of commerce is preparing the city’s 32nd Annual Horse-Drawn Parade and Festival. The event will take place early next month.
The parade is a Lebanon tradition that helps start the holiday season. For this year’s event, there will be two parades hosted on the same day. The first is a daylight parade that will happen in the early afternoon, and the second is the traditional candlelight parade that takes place during the evening. Spectators can book a seating box ahead of time to watch the event when it happens. For everyone’s safety, chairs and other setups will not be allowed during either parade.
There will be other holiday-related activities like caroling and light displays between the parades. Several musical performances are also planned.
The chamber is also looking for food and craft vendors to sell their goods during the event, as well as carriages to be part of the parade. In these instances, exchanging Business Cards can help facilitate partnerships between organizers and participants.
The parade will happen on Saturday, December 4, starting at Broadway Street. The daylight parade will take place at 1:00 PM, while the evening parade will be at 7:00 PM. Festivities and other entertainment will start at 10:00 AM. For anyone interested in a spectator box, registration for one is $200 per parade.
