Country stars head to Kettering

A country music star and an up-and-coming vocalist will be in Kettering soon.

Riley Green is coming to the Fraze Pavilion with his special guest, Preston Cooper. Green has made a substantial impact on the country music scene in a short time. In 2017, he self-released his first EP, “Outlaws Like Us,” and in 2018 he released “Riley Green,” his debut EP, on the Nashville Harbor label.

He has released three studio albums, dropping the most recent, “Don’t Mind If I Do” in 2024. It climbed to No. 8 on the US Country chart. He has also won numerous accolades including being labeled “2020 New Male Artist of the Year” by the Academy of Country Music.

Green’s guest, Preston Cooper, is a native of Fredericktown, Ohio, and has become known for his powerful, soulful voice that has led to comparisons with Bob Seger and Chris Stapleton. He began playing guitar as a freshman in high school, and became a mailman after graduation. His habit of singing while he delivered the mail won him local fame as “The Singing Mailman.”

Brett and Brad Warren, who discovered stars like Keith Urban and Dierks Bently, noticed Cooper at a songwriter’s round in Toledo. He will be releasing his debut album “Toledo Talkin’” in 2025. The artist blends Alt-Rock and country into a raw, edgy style.

The concert is scheduled for July 18 at 8.00 pm. Organizers of events like this may use poster printing methods to create advertising for them.
