Fundraising letters were mailed to donors and members before Christmas, and a notice of the fundraiser is posted on social media and the park’s website.
Pyramid Hill interim director Lee Sanders was quoted by the Journal-News as saying:
“This is our annual appeal to our friends, donors and members for our general operating fund, the kinds of things that we do, the programming that we do to make art and nature accessible to people.”
The goal for this year’s Annual Fund Campaign is to raise at least $30,000. That money will be used to pay for indoor and outdoor exhibitions and park events and programs, such as the Art & Music Festival, Art & Earth Day, Journey Borealis and the Summer Series for Kids.
Promoting an event or fundraising campaign is made easier with the assistance of a banner printing service.
Pyramid Hill includes more 60 massive outdoor sculpture scattered through a diverse array of natural settings. Egyptian, Etruscan, Green Roman and Syrian sculptures dating as far back as 1550 B.C. can be found in the park’s Ancient Sculpture Museum.
The park can be found at 1763 Hamilton-Cleves Road. General admission for adults is $8 and for children the cost is $3. The campaign concludes on February 14.
