Hamilton residents seeking alternative options for stress relief and healing are in luck, as a forest bathing session is being planned.
The forest bathing session, hosted by Pam Lowe Cho, will begin in a few weeks, offering attendees a rejuvenating experience. Cho has worked as an executive coach since 2009 and became a Certified Forest Therapy Guide during the COVID-19 pandemic. She recently traveled to Japan to work with medical practitioners and forest bathing guides to further her skills.
The event aims to help attendees calm their minds and bodies with an outdoor forest bathing experience. Cho will help guests learn to calm their minds using all five senses. Each person will enjoy a guided walk through the forest and soothing nature readings. Brochure printing can help instructors and students retain information from educational experiences like this.
Interested parties can anticipate reconnecting with nature on a deeper level when registering for the forest bathing session. The event will be held outdoors, and participants are encouraged to check the weather before leaving home. Comfortable walking shoes and athletic clothing are recommended for the best experience.
The Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park will host the forest bathing session on Sunday, August 18. The healing experience will begin at 1:00 PM and end at 3:00 PM. Tickets are $15 for members and $25 for non-members. Reservations can be made online.
