A ride has been scheduled in Fairfield to support those people who help keep communities safe.
The 1st Annual First Responders Benefit Ride is a fundraising event to support UAS 500, a public Safety Drone Support Unit. The unit comprises pilots from law enforcement agencies and fire departments throughout Southwest Ohio. The UAS 500 team will receive 100% of the profits raised from the ride and will use the funds to improve capabilities by enhancing training and upgrading equipment.
Queen City Harley Davidson will be the starting point and finish line for the ride, which will have a police escort. Following the ride, participants are invited to remain to enjoy raffles, beer, food, and entertainment including live music. Outdoor events like this can benefit by having the course marked by Banners, which can withstand the elements and are created by banner printing experts.
Entertainers include Tori Faith, who is a rock and country singer/songwriter from Cincinnati. She has been compared to country superstars like Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton. Professional musician Kevin Cooper has established himself as a staple in Cincinnati, and Templin Road is a Cincinnati cover band that plays the hits from Journey, the Eagles, and other vocally complex outfits.
The ride is set for July 24 with registration beginning at 10.30 am and the day winding up at 7.00 pm. The tickets are $25 for single riders, $35 for doubles and everyone will receive a tee shirt.
