Virtual job fair for Columbus locals

JobsOffice will hold a virtual fair, titled “JobExpo,” for residents of Columbus. Anyone interested in meeting employers and recruiters is encouraged to join.

Approximately 170,000 professionals and 7,000 recruiters will attend the fair. Entrants will have the opportunity to find new career opportunities and perhaps exchange digital Business Cards with different employers. Also, there will be a variety of industries at the event. These industries will include advertising, education, mass media, real estate, and many others.

Anyone interested in attending must first register on JobOffice’s website. Once users have registered, they will need to access the webpage for the fair. Once they have done this, entrants can then go to their settings page to complete a professional profile. Then, two to three days before the event begins, entrants will be matched with potential employers based on the information on their profile. Also, the organizers will send a training video to all entrants who complete a profile, which will teach participants how to make an effective first impression on employers at the event.
