SpeedColumbus Networking will hold a virtual networking event for business professionals in Columbus.
This workshop will allow participants to meet other professionals and build new business relationships. The event is designed around the idea of speed networking, where every seven to eight minutes, participants will find a new professional to talk to. Organizers hope entrants can find more potential connections with this format.
The event will take place online, and participants can access it through their tablets, phones, or computers. SpeedColumbus will send out more information for accessing the event after participants have signed up.
On the day of the event, every participant will gather in a virtual lobby. A host will overlook the lobby and will group every participant into private rooms of two. Entrants can then chat with their partners before being placed in a new room with a new partner. If any participant requires assistance, they can direct their concerns towards the host. Afterwards, participants can select which professional they want to connect with. Then an email will be sent to each participant telling them which connections they have established. Business Cards are often exchanged to help further these connections.
February 1 is the event date, and it will last from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased for $21.25 at Eventbrite. Anyone with more questions can direct them to 866 WE SPEED.
