A Columbus suburb that boasts beautiful and innovative gardens will be welcoming a tour that will offer a sneak peek behind the garden gate.
This will be the 16th year for the Bexley House and Garden Tour, which has come to be a tradition for those looking for horticultural inspiration or who just appreciate the beauty of a flower bed. It will be hosted by the Bexley Women’s Club, and the monies raised will help local students achieve their post-secondary education goals through a scholarship program.
The tour will incur stops at an assortment of properties, and they will demonstrate planting techniques ranging from traditional to native and even completely outside the box. The registration fee for the activity starts at $25. To help whet the registrants’ appetite for the occasion, a House and Garden Preview has been scheduled ahead of the tour itself.
This year’s instalment includes at least 10 stops, and food trucks will be parked at the headquarters for the activity. A printing services company can provide printed maps and well as other materials for a tour-style activity.
The 2023 Bexley Women’s Club House and Garden Tour will be hitting the neighborhood on Sunday, June 4. The preview party has been planned for Thursday, May 18 at the Bexley Public Library Auditorium. The headquarters for the day will be set up at 65 Drexel Avenue.
