Columbus plans neon paint party

A paint and sip event is set for a Columbus venue next month, allowing people to unleash their inner artist, but with a special twist.

Attendees in the Neon Brush session will be creating works of art with a retro-futuristic flair, and everyone will be encouraged to let their creativity flow. Both alcoholic and soft beverages will be available for purchase. The session is limited to those age 21 and up. IDs will be checked at the door.

Participants will be working under black light so that the fluorescent colors they work with will have the event of popping off the paper. There will be music playing to help create a festive atmosphere, and everyone will be able to take their work of art home with them. As the project may be messy, ticketholders are advised not to wear their best clothes.

Marketing an activity to the public is likely to be key to its success, and a flyer printing company will be able to lend a helping hand. It can prepare materials that grab the reader’s attention, and these may include a scannable QR code.

This paint and sip with a special twist will be held at Barley's Brewing Company on Sunday, October 27. Everyone who registers is asked to be in their seat by no later than 6:00 pm.
