Columbus offers kid-friendly fun

Columbus is the place to be for kids next month, as they have been offered the chance to make some new animal friends.

The city’s Commons for Kids: Animal Day will open mid-morning, and it will be filled with activities geared towards the younger set. It is free to take part, and several local businesses and not-for-profit groups will be joining in the fun.

The plans for the gathering include face painting thanks to Pretty as a Princess, and Urban Arts Space will set up crafting activities. For the Love of Primates, Franklin County Dog Shelter, Bring the Farm to You, Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District, and Ohio Wetlands Association are all set to be on hand. The Columbus Folk Music Society will give performances, and there will be carousel rides and lawn games, as long as the weather is suitable. The session’s runtime will be three hours.

Organized events give children the chance to learn in an entertaining environment. Print shops can provide everything from custom Logo Design services to jazz up the T-Shirts and other uniforms worn by staff and volunteers to award certificates and registration Forms.

Commons for Kids will be offering its Animal Day installment on Friday, June 13, starting at 10:00 am. Anyone interested in finding out more about the event can do so on the venue’s website.
