The Columbus Museum of Art will hold “The Art of Recovery,” an exhibit on art’s healing capabilities. The event will take place early in November.
The Art of Recovery is inspired by art’s ability to ease depression and anxiety. Research shows that viewing art can help a person’s mental health and mood.
At the event, guests will have the opportunity to purchase art. Organizers have ensured that the art will be affordable for all buyers. Both avid collectors and people looking to start a collection are welcome to attend and make purchases. Guests will bid for artwork at a silent auction, where creations from different mediums will be available. All art is made by local artists.
Attendees can also explore the museum and its exhibits or watch live demos and other live entertainment. At events like these, banner printing is often used to help guide guests to different activities.
The Art of Recovery will take place on November 5th at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $50 for individuals and $85 for couples. The event will also have a VIP option for those looking to join a special reception between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Tickets for this VIP session are $100 for individuals and $175 for couples. The Columbus Museum of Art is located at 480 East Broad Street.
