Local fruit, veggies, and other products fresh from the farm will be offered in Columbus soon, as a farmers’ market starts up its summer schedule.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Gardens offers programming throughout the year, and its markets give people an easy way to support local farmers. They take place once a week on Wednesday afternoons, and will be set up in the parking area located just outside the main conservatory.
The shoppers at these events will be able to purchase fruit, vegetables and other agricultural products, as well as a variety of handmade goods. Electronic benefit Transfer (EBT) will be accepted for many of the items on offer, and parking is free. They will take place rain or shine, and each will run for three hours.
The application system for the farmers’ markets is now open, and vendors and food trucks are welcome to submit a request to be a part of the celebration. There are no fees being charged to the businesses that participate. Many operators of mobile eateries count on printing services companies to design, Print, and install vehicle wraps so they look their best for a particular occasion.
The 2022 schedule of pop-up summer markets hosted at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens will run from June 2 until September 21. Each will begin at 3:30 pm and wrap up for the evening at 6:30 pm.
