Columbus families will soon be making tracks for Goodale Park so they can be part of a celebration that will send kids back to classes in style.
Franklin County Children’s Services and KidsLinked announced that they are pleased to present the 14th annual Columbus Back to School Bash. The whole family will be able to enjoy the celebration, and admission will be free when tickets are reserved in advance.
Those who register ahead of time for the day will receive a selection of school supplies, and there will also be the fun of a bounce park, jump rope/hula hoop/limbo contests and visits from costumed characters. Pizza will be served, and a balloon artist, face painter, prize draws and carnival style games are all in the works. The parents can browse through the resource fair, and there will also be a pop up vendor market featuring local small businesses. The first 700 kids will receive a set of back to school items.
Community resource fairs help to keep local residents informed, and making them fun can help to ensure they will be well attended. Sponsorship requests for an activity are often printed on a not for profit group’s Letterheads, and this can be prepared by Stationery printers.
The Columbus Back to School Bash and Fam Jam will help to send kids back to classes on August 3rd. It will be running from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
