An event that will introduce Columbus residents to the wildlife all around them will help to get February off to an exciting start, and entry to the celebration is included with admission to the Ohio History Center.
The organizers of the Wild Ohio Weekend of activities will explore the area’s natural history, and it will include both animals and plants. Masks are mandatory, and a schedule for the various workshops and other offerings has been created for the occasion.
The festivities will kick off on a Saturday, and one of the table displays that will be set up will be created by the Ohio Division of Wildlife. The Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center, the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, and many other organizations will be participating as well, and the agenda also includes presentations, lectures, film screenings, and exhibits. More still may be added to the schedule as the function draws closer.
Participating in an expo-style occasion gives a not-for-profit group a venue where they can raise awareness and connect with potential supporters. A banner printing company will be able to supply booth decor as well as Signs, backdrops, and other oversized items.
The 2022 Wild Ohio weekend will be welcoming area nature lovers on February 5 and 6. It will run from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm both days at the Ohio History Center.
