As the season transitions to fall and a touch of chill comes into the air, a group of cheese and wine lovers will come together for a special tasting event.
Savor Pint in Columbus will be welcoming foodies and the epicurious for a fall-themed wine and cheese pairing. As it will be held in time for the upcoming holiday season, those who take part will be able to wow their guests during their festive seasonal soirees.
The participants in the gathering will be treated to a flight of five wines, and these will be paired with an assortment of cheeses. Everyone will be encouraged to explore how and why the flavors complement each other. They will be encouraged to stay on their feet and mingle with other guests, but there will be limited seating available.
Functions where food or beverages will be served may call for tasting glasses and other tableware. These can be printed with a logo or other graphic design, and can make for fun souvenirs of a culinary event.
This evening of wine, cheese, and the chance to meet other Columbus foodies will open at 6:00 pm on Thursday, September 26. The venue is located at 4440 Indianola Avenue, and tickets may be purchased through its web listing, with early bird tickets available until September 19.
