Columbus conservatory hosts holiday spectacle

A Columbus attraction has pulled out all the stops for the holiday season.

The Franklin Park Conservatory Botanical Gardens wants to make the holidays a little bit brighter, and it has brought Conservatory Aglow back for 2021. Open to the public throughout December and early January, and visitors are treated to the spectacle of thousands of lights made up into a variety of colorful displays.

The grounds of the conservatory is full of decorations, and a musical light show and festive Gingerbread House are making their return. There are also brand new creations including a revamp of the Topiary Collection, and select evenings will see carolers and other live entertainment on offer. Once they have had their fill of the installations, visitors are welcome to head indoors to enjoy everything on offer there. It is advised that people book their tickets ahead of time for this experience.

In response to Covid, many event organizers have chosen to move their functions outdoors where people can find it easier to social distance. Banner printing companies will be able to prepare decor that can withstand being out in the elements.

The 2021 installment of Conservatory Aglow is running throughout December, and its final date will be Sunday, January 9, 2022. Additional details, including health and safety and ticketing information, are available on its website
