Columbus area evening to boast books and brews

Thanks to a Columbus area event, people will be able to enjoy the experience of sitting down with a good book next month.

The Friends of the Marysville Public Library and Walking Distance Brewery will soon be bringing a special evening to the area, and it will be on offer for one night only. It will see the brewery’s tasting room be converted into a bookstore, and the members of the public who stop by will be able to add some new Books to their own personal collection.

Admission to the activity is $25 each, and everyone who purchases an entry pass will be treated to a beverage of their choice. They will also be able to score three Books, as well as three tickets for the raffle. They can use these to enter draws for the prizes of their choice, and these Corporate Gifts will be donated by local businesses.

The listing for the evening explained that tickets will be available online, and they may also be purchased at the door until supplies run out. Those who attend the function are welcome to remain on site for a screening of The Golden Bachelor.

Walking Distance Brewery will be teaming up with The Friends of the Marysville Public Library for its Cheers to Beers and Books event, and it will begin at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 9. The brewery can be found at 222 East 8th Street in Marysville.
