Businesses and universities to run forum on higher education

Columbus businesses and Ohio universities will discuss improvements to higher education at a forum next month. Panelists will come together and show their findings at the Fawcett Center in Ohio State University.

At the forum, businesses and universities will discuss some solutions that can help students in higher education. The panel will include presidents of several well-known Ohio universities like Ohio State and Denison. They will highlight some of the educational issues worsened by the pandemic, like problems around job shortages and skill gaps, and ways to address them. For events like these, brochure printing can be used to give an overview of discussion topics.

The discussion will not be broadcasted, but an excerpt will be present in the Columbus Business First. Since the forum is in-person, it will follow protocols around COVID-19. Masks are optional for the event, but extra safety measures will be implemented.

The forum is set to take place on September 9 between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. Tickets for the event can be purchased online for $30 per person. Guests can find the event location at 2400 Olentangy River Road. Anyone with more questions can contact Melissa Price at 614-220-5436 or mprice@bizbournal.com.

Organizers are also accepting sponsorships for the event. Those looking to become sponsors can contact Steve Hewitt at 614-220-5440 or shewitt@bizjournal.com.
