Wine and music pair perfectly in Canton

A special event is scheduled in Canton that will pair music and wine for a delicious evening.

Gervasi Vineyard is teaming up with the Canton Symphony Orchestra to host a concert entitled “Symphony Uncorked with Koko and Solomon.” Solomon Liang and Koko Watanabe, violinists from the orchestra, will be playing at the Villa Grande as attendees of this special concert enjoy cheese and wine.

The menu for the evening includes warm goat cheese crusted with cashews, served with arugula; a cranberry and brie tart; a skewer of bel paese soppresata; and Gorgonzola dolce apricot preserves. The cheese presentation and a glass of wine will be served to each guest, and is included with the concert.

There are several dining options at the vineyard, and two in particular are suggested for the evening. Both The Crush House and The Bistro will be open for dinner, either before the performance or after it is concluded. Service at The Crush House is on a first-come, first served basis, while it is recommended that people make reservations for The Bistro.

The vineyard will observe the guidelines for social distancing, and to facilitate this, tickets will be sold in blocks of 6-10 per table.

The concert is scheduled for November 4 at 6:00 pm, with doors opening at 5:30 pm. Poster printing is often used to provide advertising for this type of event.
