The Ohio Christmas Factory will be opening its doors in Canton this holiday season, looking to present a live interactive space full of seasonal cheer.
The attraction was designed by experienced creators of haunted houses like The Factory of Terror and Akron Haunted Schoolhouse & Laboratory, who wanted to bring the same type of space-based attraction to the holiday season. The Christmas Factory is a heated indoor space that spans over 50, 000 square feet, including areas like Candy Cane Lane, The Frozen Forest, and Gingerbread Mansion.
Visitors can meet and take photos with Santa Claus, the Grinch and other holiday characters. Children can deliver their letters to Santa in person or submit them to a Magical Mailbox. After dark, the entrance facade will be used for light show synced to popular carols, which will last about 15 minutes.
For those who are still in the Halloween spirit, there will be a Spookytown section that combines Christmas characters with some light scares. The Christmas factory area also includes food trucks and vendors such as Kim’s Pancakes and Mrs. Claus’ Bakery, along with the Winter Wonderland bar for grown-ups. Holiday attractions like this often use Signs and banner printing to help attract visitors from the surrounding area.
The Ohio Christmas Factory’s 2026 season will run from November 27 to December 23 at its location on the Factory of Terror site in Canton.
