Viva Italia at Canton festival

A major festival in Canton celebrates all things Italian.

The 36th Annual Stark County Italian American Festival is on the way from July 5 to 7, promising fun, food, and live entertainment for everyone.

A bocce tournament is planned, where a men’s team of four can enter for $40, as can a four-player woman’s team. People playing alone may enter for $10. Winners will receive cash prizes.

Live entertainment will perform on two stages. The first day begins with an awards breakfast, and the festival starts at 4.00 pm. At 6.00 pm, Aaron Caruso appears on the Main Stage, followed by Fool House: The Ultimate ‘90s Dance Party. The Valletta Band plays on the Italian Stage at 7.00 pm, and the festival closes at 11.00 pm.

Day two kicks off at 12.00 pm when the Tuscan Trio performs on the Main Stage. The Allegro Dance Company, Analisa & John, and The Prince Project are scheduled as well. Over on the Italian Stage, entertainment is by I Campagnoli and the Italian Dance Party starts at 6.00 pm. Fireworks start at 9.30 pm, and the party closes at 11.00 pm.

On the final day, a mass will be held at 11.00 am before the festival opens an hour later. Goodfellos appear on the Main Stage, and a tribute band for Journey called E5C4P3, plays later. The Italian stage will host Le Fiamme, and the festival ends at 8.00 pm. When people plan events like this, they often use poster printing to promote them.
