A mammoth celebration of football is coming up in Canton.
This August brings the 2023 Enshrinement Week, packed with activities for everyone to enjoy. The first day features the Play Football “Skills Camp,” which is specifically for youngsters ages 10-14, and will give participants at all skill levels a chance to enjoy football activities.
The second day includes the Play Football First Play, an uplifting event in which thousands of children form a human chain and pass a football hand-to-hand from down Canton to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
On the third day, the New York Jets will play the Cleveland Browns in the Hall of Fame Game, and on the fourth day, the “Class of 2023” will take a group photo at Centennial Plaza. This day also brings the Enshrinee’s Gold Jacket Dinner, at which time the new inductees will receive the famous gold jacket that is a symbol of their achievement.
The Grand Parade steps off at 8:00 pm in downtown Canton on the fifth day, and will be followed by the Class of 2023 Enshrinement at noon, and the Concerts for Legends at 8.00 pm. The Zac Brown Band is featured.
The week is Tuesday, August 1 through Sunday, August 6. The Hall of Fame Museum will be open throughout the event, but special hours mean visitors should check first. Banner printing can be used to create signage for events like this, spread across many venues.
