Participants will run, walk, or jog through a 5-kilometre distance through Canton, with a warm indoor space to celebrate and congregate before and after the race. There will also be a Diaper Dash for children, allowing them to take part by running a shorter distance. Santa Claus will also be waiting at the finish line for photo opportunities. This year’s edition will feature special discount pricing for seniors as well as students under 18, encouraging health at any age. The goal is to create an encouraging atmosphere for challenging one’s own limits:

Those who complete the run will receive a “cool” finisher medal and a commemorative t-shirt. Runs and other athletic events often use commemorative Promotional Products to help participants remember and celebrate the occasion. The event has also hinted at a “potential surprise partnership” that could be a treat for runners.
The 2024 Spirit of the Season 5K will begin and end at the Center for Performance in Canton’s Hall of Fame Village, with the run taking place on the morning of December 14.
