Elvis reentering the building in Canton

Elvis Presley is still one of the most influential artists in the history of rock music, with his legacy kept alive all over the world by scores of Elvis impersonators. Now one such expert is coming to Canton.

Mike Albert is presenting “Elvis’s Blue Christmas”, during which he will perform some of the songs popularized by The King, with the help of his backup group, the Big “E” Band.

Albert's "Ultimate Tribute" show is known for the respect he shows for Elvis and his music. Mike got his start by singing along to tapes of Elvis, going on to win several Elvis impersonation contests. His success inspired him to create the Big “E Band, a seven-piece group that recreates the sound of the backing band Elvis used on tour and in his shows in Las Vegas.

Mike’s charisma and style have impressed J.D Summer, and the Legendary Jordanaires, the actual groups that performed with Elvis, to the extent they have toured with him. They have appeared at festivals, fairs, dinner shows and other events that have continued to draw crowds. His powerful voice is perfect for singing all of Elvis’ music, from love songs to rock to gospel and even Christmas shows. Thanks to Elvis’ never-ending list of hits, Mike always has fresh material.

Mike Albert will be at the Canton Palace Theater on Friday, November 17, at 7.30pm. Doors will open at 6.30pm. When events like this are planned, organizers often consider using poster printing to promote them.
