Country artist to visit Canton

A singer who has also written songs for some of country’s biggest stars will be coming to Canton.

Chris Janson was born in Missouri but moved to Nashville once he had finished high school. Warner Bros. Records Nashville signed him, and he released three full-length albums on that label: “Real Friends,” “Everybody,” and “Buy Me a Boat.” He also recorded an EP for both Warner Bros. Nashville and Bigger Picture Music Group. He has put multiple singles on the Country Airplay and Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including “Done” and “Good Vibes.” Both hit the No. 1 spot on Country Airplay.

On the songwriting side of his career, Janson co-wrote the single “Truck Yeah” with Tim McGraw in 2012, and played the harmonica for the track “Beer” on “Hard 2 Love,” an album by Lee Brice. He also wrote the title song for “Off the Beaten Path,” a 2013 album from Justin Moore. He has also written singles for Hank Williams Jr., Randy Houser, and LoCash, and performed on an album by Holly Williams.

"He is explosive on stage and completely unpredictable. . . . Chris Janson is the future of country music.”

Janson will be at the Canton Palace Theatre on March 4, at 8.00 pm. When events like this are scheduled, organizers can use brochure printing to create programs, as audiences like to learn about the performer and their work.
