For the second year, monsters are targeting Canton for an attack.
The Canton Palac Theatre and the Downtown Canton double Tree by Hilton will be the venues for the 2024 Monster Fest 2024, a two-day celebration of all things creepy, strange, and paranormal.
The activity for the first day will be at the theater, where visitors will find a Small Town Monsters (STM) panel, a STM film premiere, and a Q&A session with guests. On the second day, most of the fun is at the hotel, with live podcasts, a vendor hall, guest speakers, film screenings, and workshops on the schedule.
Among the guests are Mike Anne, a filmmaker and Bigfoot researcher; Shannon LeGro, producer and host of a weekly radio program “Into the Fray,” in which she interviews witnesses of UFO incidents, cryptids, and the paranormal; and Amy Bue, a bigfoot researcher.
Tickets bought on presale are $20.50, or $25 at the door, plus there are two upgrades available. The VIP Level 1 is Bigfoot Buddy and comprises a one-hour early admission to vendors, a souvenir cup, and a VIP Monster Fest tote bag. VIP Level 2 is the Cryptid Conservationist level, which includes everything from Level 1 plus a meet-and-greet after the movie on the Friday night, admission to the theater, and a signed event poster. Children under 12 get free admission.
Monster Fest 2024 is scheduled for Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29. When celebrations like this are planned, organizers will often use poster printing to create advertisements for them.
