A popular comedian and actor is on tour and will be stopping soon in Canton.
Actor and stand-up comedian Kevin Hart has been nominated for two Grammys and an Emmy. He is now taking his Reality Check Tour throughout the country and is making a stop in Canton. Billboard recently honored Hart by declaring that Reality Check is the #1 Comedy Tour of 2022. Hart also won the People’s Choice Award for ‘Comedy Act of 2022’ for this tour.
He began his career as a stand-up comedian, though he was slow getting started. He began in clubs in his native Philadelphia, and once had chicken leg thrown at him. However, he kept at it, improved his material, and started reaching his audiences when he began using his own life experiences and insecurities as the basis for his routines.
He won several comedy competitions, which led to Jud Apatow casting him as the character Luke in three episodes of the television series “Undeclared.” The half-hour comedy only lasted one season, but it was Hart’s introduction to both television and film, and he now has dozens of roles to his credit.
Kevin Hart will be at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on May 18. The stadium is part of the Hall of Fame Village. When performers like this come to town, organizers of the event can use brochure printing to create programs, as audiences like to learn about their favorite artists.
