Biscuits fresh from the oven can be a real taste treat and the Syosset Public Library will be teaching how to prepare them from scratch.
Rob Scott will be sharing the secrets of making fluffy honey buttermilk biscuits during an hour of hands-on learning. Registration for the activity opens today (October 21), and a library card is required to sign up.
The session will see its attendees prepare batter for their biscuits, and along with this, Chef Rob will demonstrate how to make a chocolate chip cookie cheesecake dip to sample. Everyone is asked to bring a large blending bowl as well as a mixing spoon, grater, and a cookie tray. A payment of $5 will be collected to help cover the cost of the materials used.
A cooking or baking class may benefit from the printing services available at a local professional, which will be happy to provide a range of Promotional Products and services. It can craft recipe cards as well as clothing for the staff, and even custom printed chef’s hats to hand out to the learners.
Chef Rob will be teaching how to make honey buttermilk biscuits during this cookery class scheduled for Friday, November 13. It will run from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm and will be held in the Library's Meeting Rooms B/C.
