Syosset offered spots in pet portrait fundraiser
Fido, Fluffy, Polly and other Syosset pets will be able to get in on the seasonal fun when they pose for some holiday themed photos.
Huntington’s Little Shelter will be the charity of choice for the photo session planned for December. This no-kill facility helps cats and dogs find loving homes, and a registration fee of $15.00 is being charged to secure a spot.
The photos, which will include festive decor, will be taken by the professionals at Len Marks Photography, and when they arrive, the participants will be asked to make a $30.00 donation for the sitting. The proceeds will all be passed along to the shelter. Each “pet parent" will receive four to six pictures as well as a holiday gift sourced from FETCH. Anyone who would like to purchase additional digital images or promotional products featuring their pet may do so.
The holidays are a popular time for getting family portraits done, and these often include the four legged, furry or feathery members. These photoshoots may call for backdrops and other custom materials, which can be prepared by printers that can perform in house graphic design work.
This annual fundraiser for Little Shelter will take place on December 6th and 7th at 310 New York Avenue in Huntington. Sittings can be reserved by following the link included in its Patch listing.
